Hey Soldiers. J.R here.

If you don't already know the Gallian Liberation Front has its own YouTube page and every bi-weekly we release a podcast where me, Eximius and a guest speaker take the time to talk about hot topics or answer some of your questions: Its a mixture of fun, seriousness, hilariousness and downright awesome packed together in a small video just for your listening pleasure. We have been getting a lot of positive feedback about how awesome the conversations are that we have had a lot of requests of people asking if they can be a guest speaker.

Well the requests keep piling in and we just cannot deny our soldiers the chance to come on as a guest speaker. The admins have been talking and we now have a solution: a COMPETITION. As you may know we are always encouraging people to utilize there artistic skills to create artwork for the GLF to help promote the group: as such we feel this is a good way to help get our members being creative as well as give them the chance to earn a spot as a guest speaker.

Competition Details

1. Your task is to create a piece of artwork for the Gallian Liberation Front to the best of your ability. You are free to use whatever you want whether it be photoshop, painting, drawing, paper mache: the skies the limit (or maybe its space?) 
2. Nothing that antagonizes Sega or other group movements.
3. You MUST submit an image of your work on the GLF Facebook page. 
4. You must submit your work before the 16th of November for it to be eligible in the competition.
5. We will be announcing the winner in our next podcast on the 17th of November.
6. Winners will be notified via Facebook message.

Mission 05 - Operation Iron Veil

As you have seen from the video.
"Mission 05 - Operation Iron Veil" is a go.

Here are the details:
The Letter Templates are to the right of this post. You can download the letter templates the same way you downloaded the Campaign Flier Pack previously. The blue fields on the Letter Templates are areas in which you can edit. Please note that the blue background will NOT appear when you print them (as they just show areas in which you can edit).

Also note, that you cannot save the file. Once you have typed your customized letter. You must print it IMMEDIATELY. Please be sure to select the specific page to print before you actually print it. If you don't it will print out ALL 6 templates instead the one you just want.

Guidelines (for both Letters and E-mails):
1) Tell Sega the amount of passion you have for the Series. Tell them how much this game means to you.
2) Be polite and respectful in what you say. Remember your words are a reflection of the GLF.
3) Give them reasons as to why this game is important to gaming culture at large.
4) Acknowledge the issues concerning the PSP platform, but support the series to appear on other platforms.
5) Be optimistic in your content. Don't say things like "I'll kill myself if you don't release this game!!!111!!"
6) We want Sega to see us as a group of fans that are courteous and dedicated NOT clinically insane. So make sure the tone of your letters and/or emails are as such.
7) Finally, if you want to include other things VC related you own. Put them down as well.

Hey Soldiers, J.R here. I hope everyone has rested up from "Operation - Warden's Aegis" but this month is gonna be really busy for the militia so as the moto goes, Altaha Abilia (Always Ready).

Here is your mission debrief.

The team have been analyzing the statistical data for our group provided by facebook and have found that many people who joined the GLFront came from anime/manga based websites. We presume there is a large fanbase for Valkyria Chronicles ever since the franchise got an anime and OVA adaption. That being said we have decided to concentrate our recruiting efforts on 8 major anime/manga sites: each sites contains a large amount of members.

There are bound to be tons of fans of "Valkyria Chronicles, the anime" and "Valkyria Chronicles 3 OVA": most likely a lot of them will be gamers seeking the localization of Valkyria Chronicles 3. Spread the word on any threads relating to Valkyria Chronicles and the Gallian Liberation Front and if there isn't one about our group, create one.

You might have notice but the rate of recruits coming into our militia has dropped and so we have decided to try different forms of media to promote ourselves. Right now we are looking videos to help promote us and so we have TWO things we would like to employ your help with.

ONE - We are considering doing video entries to help spread the word about GLF and so we are looking for video editors as well as artists. We are looking to do something similar to Extra Credits but our team is really limited and so we are seeking help from the community. If you've got good skills at editing videos or your a decent/excellent artist then please send us an e-mail or give us a shout on twitter.

Just a note for people applying for artists. Take a look at Extra Creditz. We are not looking for anything fancy but something that is simplistic yet stand out. If anything we could utilize different artists with different styles for a more unique approach. Please send us a sample of your drawing style along with your e-mail to sign up an artist. manga artists are also welcomed (we want/like chibi artists).

TWO - We would like the ask the community to help make videos to promote GLF. Right now are team is limited and so we cannot make any videos for our group however we have seen people making videos to help promote our group and so we would like to capitalize on this idea and ask others to do the same. If you have the time and not shabby at video editing then want ask you to help us.

We plan on launching a preemptive strike against SEGA, letting them know we are coming. 

THIS MISSION IS PERHAPS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE YOU MUST PARTAKE IN. 

EVERYONE MUST PARTICIPATE. THAT IS AN ORDER.

I can't stress it enough. This could have a great impact on the battle in our favor, but if no one goes along with the mission, it will be all for naught.

Anyway, In order to do so, please print out the image from above, and sign your name on the line next to the "x" at the bottom. Make sure when you print it that it fills the entire page. It should do so already, but every computer and printer is different.

After you've done so, fold it up, jam it in an envelope, and await further instructions. Phase 2 of this mission will begin when we know enough people have printed it out and signed it.

Hey guys Eximius here to give your next mission.

Now before I give details on the next mission, remember that most of these missions are ongoing efforts. Just because Mission 02 started doesn't mean you should stop on Mission 01. If you can e-mail online article writers and convince them to write an article about our movement, that is always welcome.

Mission Debrief
"Crimson Dawn" will involve being personal and going face to face promoting our campaign. I will list specific conventions in local areas throughout the World that will begin throughout September. Your mission is to see if you can go to these conventions and hand out our fliers promoting us (If you can make the commute or live near these conventions). Keep in mind that it doesn't have to be a large quantity of fliers, but if you can get the attention of 2 - 8 individuals it can have a multiplier effect and recipient of the flier can spread our word too.

Mission 01 - "Operation Hawkeye"

ATTENTION SOLDIERS!!!

It has been 1 week since the launch of our new base of operations for the Gallian Liberation Front and over that time we have had more than 500 recruits join our base in preparation for the fight to take what is ours. However we are still in need of more loyal recruits and so in order to heat things up and give things a bit of a push, we have decided to start a pre-emptive campaign to help encourage recruits to join our page and we need YOUR help.

Mission Details
Your target will be two game sites/video blogs - IGN and Extra Credits
You are to e-mail and contact each site expressing your interest and support for these sites to write an article/interview or mention of the Gallian Liberation Front to help promote us.
Our aim is to get enough support from the general community to help convince these sites that we are worthy cause to write about and hopefully with hundreds of people flooding their e-mails or twittering them with requests, this may happen: Support is better in numbers.
Hitting these big sites and convincing them to write and article about the GLF can ultimately convince thousands of potential recruits to join our cause.

Hey Eximius Here. It's Update Time!!

Hope "Operation Hawkeye" is easy for you to carry out and I hope it's going well.

With that in mind the whole idea of Hawkeye is for us to get more publicity and further increase our support.
And another way you can help is to hand out some of our Fliers if you are going to any of your local convention. I will post specific dates to the blog of any of your local conventions for specific days to help spread our word.

Also you can use "Forum Signatures" to the right of this page for websites that allow you to use images at the end of your posts. Speaking of which I have uploaded more Forum Signatures (16 more) for some extra variety and incentive for you to help us gather new recruits.

GLF Forum Signatures Are Up!!

Hey guys Eximius Here.

I have created 12 different Forum Signatures for you to use to spread our word. I am still working on another 18 more and those will be possibly up by next Monday. Use these Signatures if you are a member of a message board or forum that allows you to use JPEG images at the end of your posts. If you would like to request a specific character from the Valkyria Chronicles 3 game please comment on this thread.

Attention Soldiers. Courtesy of Eximius our lead designer for the art team, we now have fliers.
If you are going to any conventions and want to promote us then print out some fliers
and send them out. If you look at the right hand side of our blog column you will notice a nifty little picture with the cute as always Riela in the middle. Just click the download link and you got yourself a pdf our flier.

This is a huge step for us to promote the Gallian Liberation Front. We've been even getting in other crazy ideas from other people. If you think you got a good idea to help spread the word about the Gallian Liberation Front then me and the team would like to hear from you. Move out soldiers.

Admins are full - Looking for people for other positions

Hey soldiers J.R here - We recently have been receiving requests from a lot of people to become admins of GLF. First of let me say thank you to all that applied: we appreciate your passion to help the cause.
However we just filled in the last remaining spots so we now have a good staff of admins to manage our page, twitter and blog and so are no longer in need of anymore admins. Instead now we are looking for 1-2 people who are knowledgeable in the American legal system. As much as we want do everything we can to convince Sega to localize Valkyria Chronicles 3 we don't want to do anything that can get any of you in SERIOUS trouble. With that in mind we are requesting those who is studying or knowledgeable in the american legal system to come join our team: your role will be to provide us guidance as well as be our consultant for any of our operations if we need to do anything or if we're treading on thin ice. That's all for now soldiers.
